Clinical Supervision

Dr. Stephens will be offering Clinical/Therapy supervision positions to Clinical Psychology students and individuals registering with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or College of Psychotherapists of Ontario for supervised clinical practice (i.e., Master’s and Doctoral level associates).

Supervision is available for those with a passion to work with children, adolescents and adults with Neurodiversity, where you will learn how to observe, acknowledge and diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders, and most importantly, understand how you can help the individual person learn how to use their own unique strengths to be more successful, experience less stress, and better manage their everyday lives.

Supervision may include assessment services including psychoeducational (i.e., children, adolescents and adults) and school neuropsychological assessments (related to Neurodevelopmental Disorders) or individual therapy sessions.

Supervision for therapy typically involves training in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive behaviour therapy, Emotion focused therapy, Child play therapy, Interpersonal Therapy as well as Family Therapy.
