Ariel Ho holds a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, is certified with the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) and is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP).
Under the clinical supervision of our Clinical Director, Dr. Robyn J. Stephens PhD., C.Psych., Ariel is working towards achieving her qualifications for registration with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Ariel has worked with a wide range of children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including: university research programs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Neurodevelopmental and Psychological clinics, for Independent Psychological Private practice clinics, as well as within Educational Clinics and school settings. Ariel has over 8 years of broad experience and training administering standardized tests for psychological, psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments in addition to providing multi-disciplinary consultations discussing and developing strategies and treatment plans for individuals living with ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
Ariel is working as a psychometrist at the ErinOak Kids Centre for Treatment and Development, where she provides clinical assessments for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and works in consultation with their families and school providers to provide recommendations for the necessary supports, services and treatment options most beneficial to meet the individual child’s needs.
As a vital member of our clinical team, Ariel thrives to cultivate positive experiences for children by empowering them as they discover, accept their life challenges and successfully move forward to achieve satisfying full lives. Ariel specializes in working with young children (4-6 years of age), as well as school aged children.
Ariel is proficient and able to provide clinical services in both English and Mandarin.
